THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WAXING & PLUCKING
Plucking may lead to thicker hair, as plucking each hair individually stimulates the dermal papilla more than waxing. As each hair is plucked, the area is stimulated more, leading to an increased blood supply and strengthening of the hair follicles. This is not the case in waxing, as a large patch of hair comes off at once. Also, waxing tends to be quicker for the same reason.
When waxed, the hair is pulled from the root, resulting in the weakening of the root; the hair that re-grows is usually thinner and weaker. Waxing is also considered to be cleaner, as it easily grabs onto all hair, including the thin fine ones. Plucking, on the other hand, depends on the scrutiny of the one who is doing the tweezing, if they do not see the hair and pluck it individually, the hair will be left on. This is especially true of thin fine hairs.
Waxing has been proven to be more effective than plucking. 


Tweezing often pulls the hair out but the follicle remains. Because the follicle is still present, hair regrowth is almost immediate. It is also a time consuming process which can be painful after more than a few yanks. Also, because you're not removing every follicle with tweezing, hair growth can come in appearing thicker.

Waxing on the other hand, pulls the follicle out, and the regrowth can take a few weeks to begin regenerating. Also, because you are taking out several hairs at once, the immediate sensation might leave you saying ouch the first time you do it, but follow up applications about 4 to 6 weeks in between, will not be painful. Also, with the follicles removed, the regrowth of hair is not as thick as it was before the process, making the hair that does grow back in thinner.
